Last weekend I had the pleasure of testing out the new Gordini Stash Lite Touch glove during my very snowy 10km run.
Gordini, leader in ski and outdoor accessories since 1956, has launched a new line of gloves for running and other cold weather activities, the Stash Lite Touch glove.
These gloves are perfect for cold and unpredictable weather, as they’re able to go from hot to cold effortlessly, whether it be for running, biking, cross-country skiing or even mountain climbing. They are ultralight, and contain a non-tear nylon shell which is both water-resistant and breathable.
The Stash Lite gloves feature a Hydrowick microdenier lining which eliminates humidity during physical activities and they also have ultra-soft, 100% silk insulation, InSilk®, which locks in heat to keep hands warm.
What I loved the most, was that the gloves are designed with touchscreen technology and allow for the best dexterity while running and taking photos as a result of their silicon-grip palm. The touchscreen technology was far superior then anything I’ve tried and it was very simple to use my cell phone and snap lots of snowy shots while keeping my gloves on and my hands warm. They also contain a flexible spandex cuffs which features a uniquely designed inside pocket perfect for a credit card, lip balm, or house key.
These unisex gloves have a suggested retail price of $40 and are available in six different colours (black, charcoal, neptune, nightlife, lava and pink) and in a mitt style. I wore a size small in nightlife, but think a medium might have fit better between my fingers.
Available in several specialized boutiques across the country for all winter sports enthusiasts’ enjoyment, you can also purchase them from their USA site online here.
