Tribe Tunes: February 17

Tunes Tuesday2With these insanely cold temperatures in Toronto, many runners have been taking their workouts indoors to hammer them out on the treadmill. For some, running indoors can be very boring. Last week I shared three of my favourite hill workouts on a treadmill with Huffington Post. These are workouts I actually do when I can’t get outdoors and need to sneak one in. Read the article here. For me, having a running program that prompts you to add speed or incline regularly can make some of the time pass more quickly by being alert to the time on the machine. Another great way is awesome music. Here are three songs to motivate you to move faster while running on a treadmill.

1. Beyonce – Love On Top (DJ Escape & Tony Coluccio Main Remix)

2. Bruno Mars – Treasure (Cash Cash Radio Edit)

3. Calvin Harris – Blame ft. John Newman
