Wild About It: New Balance Printed Impact Premium Tight

The moment I saw these tights on the New Balance Instagram account I knew I had to have them. I loved the unique print, detailing, and mix of colour (Guava and multi coloured black). At the time they weren’t even available in Canada, but I marched down to my local New Balance store (in the PATH) and asked when they might come in. And in a mater of weeks they arrived, and they were mine. Notice how they match my new Vazee Pace v2.

Definitely what caught my eye with these tights was the unique print and the pop of colour – I can’t get enough of functional tights that look fashionable too.

So here’s the scoop:

The Impact Premium Tight flaunts lace like/almost animal print-esq patterns along the leg, and includes breezy mesh insets behind the knee. Perfect for keeping cool on your next run or outdoor workout. The pant also includes reflective logo on the thigh and trim detailing along the bottom leg as you can see here. The pants also have ankle zippers for a perfectly fit bottom cuff.

The waistband is a plush elastic with internal draw cord and hits just below my belly button. A perfect length for a running pant, and the draw cord helps to keep everything in place. The pants also include a center back zippered pocket to stash your debit card, or house keys, great on a run, not ideal for post run yoga or stretching. The pocket is big enough to fit my Iphone.

These moisture wicking pants are 88% Polyester and 12% Spandex. A little warm for the summer, but will look great in the fall and early winter.

These pants are available now at your local New Balance store, or can be purchased online at NewBalance.ca. They retail for $94.99.
